This is my second piece based off of Mary Stanton's "The Heavenly Horse from the Outermost West." This would be The Dancer, first horse of the Army of One Hundred and Five, and guardian of the Court of the Outermost West. I always thought he was a fantastic character and always wanted to paint him. The incredibly handsome Du Shane [link] was a perfect model for The Dancer. Handsome, strong and spunky. He belongs to Mouse, Painter IX, PS CS2, eight or so hours worth of work. The Dancer (c) Mary Stanton. This representation is mine, and I'll hunt down and bite anyone who uses it. |
